Reverse Garbage FREE Creative Reuse Workshops

It is time to book into one of the 4 FREE workshops on offer at Reverse Garbage these school holidays. These workshops are most suitable for children 5-12 years and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants have fun, develop skills and walk away with one or more completed projects – all for the price of turning up.

11am – 12.30pm Thursday 27 September ECO CREATURE COSTUMES

Make: Create your own eco creature superhero costumes with a focus on eye masks, tails and wrist bands. Participants create their own costumes for eco creature characters who are committed to reducing and reusing waste and encouraging others to do the same.

Develop: Innovative waste minimal construction techniques – this is a tape and glue free workshop, problem solving skills in design, construction and visual realisation.
 
11am – 12.30pm Friday 28 September WONDERS OF WIND

Make: Make your own wonderful wind powered toys and outdoor décor including a parachuting person, wind chimes and a wind sock.

Develop: Design and construction problem solving skills with re-used materials, and understanding of wind power and weather.

11am – 12.30pm Thursday 4 October CREATURES AND CHARACTERS

Make: Make your own toys, puppets and dolls from re-used materials. Bring your favourite storybook characters to life with materials that were destined for land-fill.

Develop: Design and construction problem solving skills with re-used materials, innovative waste minimal construction techniques – this is a tape and glue free workshop.
