We are urgently seeking additional casual educators for the upcoming school holiday period, (particularly the week of Monday, 8 October to Sunday, 14 October), as well as future school holiday periods.
Started by teachers in 1975, Reverse Garbage is still focussed on sustainability education – and we need help to meet the demand.
We provide education programs and activities for students from early childhood to tertiary, as well as professional development for educators. Our programs promote reuse through creativity, upcycling skills and visual arts.
Educators will need to be able to run our existing programs and be able to independently develop workshops around the reuse resources in our warehouse.
Educators are required to have:
– a current Working with Children Check
– drivers licence
Educators will need demonstrated experience in the delivery of educational programs related to sustainability, creativity and reuse principles and to be able to work as part of a team.
