Making a Donation

Thank you for making a donation to support Reverse Garbage and helping us divert valuable resources from landfill, back into our community.

Before making a donation to Reverse Garbage, please review the list of resources we accept and those we can’t accept.

In addition to this, donations must be clean and safe. Materials must be clean and safe as they are purchased by the public for reuse. Our staff reserve the right to refuse any donations which we believe to be unclean/unsafe.

We do accept small or large drop-off donations at our Marrickville Warehouse –  but please contact us prior to dropping off – we don’t want to cause any disappointment if we can’t accept particular resources or if our loading dock is full at a particular time during the day.

Please note the following hours for drop offs and pick-ups at our Loading Dock:

Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.
CLOSED SUNDAYS (our Loading Dock is closed due to the Marrickville Organic Markets).

Please note: All donated items must be clean and suitable for reuse. If a donation is not deemed suitable our staff may politely decline your donations.

If you organise a third party to drop off (i.e. courier, specialist remover) you will need to pay the cost of this service, Reverse Garbage can not pay for the delivery to us of any donated item.

With limited resources we always appreciate items  being dropped off to our Marrickville site. Reverse Garbage can, in certain circumstances, arrange to pick up large quantities of materials you may wish to donate. Pick ups can be arranged on an on-going basis for regular donations or as a one-off. We appreciate a minimum of 2-3 weeks notice to fit in pick-ups with our regular routes.

Also note that we require  photos  of the item (s) before we can make a decision about accepting what you have. Please email photo(s) of item(s) requiring pickup along with a description and dimensions, pick up location details and contact details to
