14 March – 8 June 2020

We are thrilled to be a part of the Biennale of Sydney 2020, activating several spaces in the education zone based at Biloela House on Cockatoo Island for the full 13 week program.

Creative reuse workshops for school groups

What many see as waste, Reverse Garbage Education Programs sees as a resource. Our collaborative hands-on student workshops will explore the creative reuse potential of the waste generated on Cockatoo Island during Biennale. We’ll discuss materials, packaging, sustainability, reuse, recycling and ways to reduce.

We will be offering one hour workshops at 11am and 12pm Monday to Friday during NSW school term.

Workshops for up to 30 students are $330 plus GST.

Bookings are exclusively through Biennale of Sydney. Booking enquiries: please call 02 8484 8702.

Saturday drop-in artist and community activations

Every Saturday from 11am to 1.30pm during the Biennale, Reverse Garbage artists and educators (supported by our amazing volunteers) will present drop-in activities for families at Biloela House. Come along and get involved with reuse art installations, space activations and learn how to be more sustainable.
