Workshops & DIY

When you choose to reuse, you save valuable resources from going to waste – and you get to enjoy the creative pride of DIY! If you need us, we’re here to help with workshops, events, project ideas and some crazy inspiration…

Public workshops and events

We get out and about a lot!

You’ll find our fun creative reuse workshops at community events, festivals, and shopping centres – or here at Reverse Garbage during the school holidays.

“Thank you so much for a brilliant workshop! My two girls had a ball and learnt at the same time about bigger issues and responsible citizenship. And we have four gorgeous kokedama for decoration to boot!”

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a bare-faced beginner, if you are curious and creative we’d love to meet you at one of our events.

To find out where we’ll be in Sydney and regional NSW, keep an eye on the calendar below, follow us on Facebook, or sign up for our newsletter below!

If you’re organising a community event or festival, find out more about how to get us involved.

Join a small group to make beautiful kaleidoscopes with 100% reuse resources. The sunlight bounces off the coloured beads and is reflected to create beautiful patterns when you look inside.

Kids will love making this kaleidoscope almost as much as they will enjoy playing with it afterward.
