CD frames

Use transparent CD cases to create cheap and cheerful photo frames.

  1. Remove all plastic and paper inserts from the CD cases so that all you are left with are the transparent boxes.
  2. Cut photos to size and place inside the CD cases. If the cases are deep, you may need to add a piece of cardboard, cut to the same size as the photo, to prevent the image from buckling or tilting backwards.
  3. The frames can be fixed to the wall individually, using double-sided tape. Alternatively, turn all the cases over, place dots of glue down the centre line of each one, and run a broad piece of ribbon across the back of all the cases to create a multi-frame hanging.
