Circular Economy

At Reverse Garbage we strongly advocate for Australia to transition to a circular economy as a way to further mitigate the effects of climate change and reduce our environmental impact.

As a leading self-funded not-for-profit charity in the sustainability sector, our commitment to championing reuse allows us to continue delivering on our social, economic and environmental impact targets.

Reuse leads the way as the preferred method of dealing with waste, after consumption reduction, as part of the resource hierarchy model. Prioritising the reuse of existing materials such as industrial cast-offs, allows these items to be diverted from landfill and helps to breed creativity and waste innovation.
