We’re inviting artists and makers to run one of eight artist-led workshops at Reverse Garbage across Saturdays in January and February 2027.
We’re looking for artists who bring creativity to reclaimed materials. Your practice might already centre on reuse and repurposing, or you might be interested in exploring how reclaimed materials could become part of your work.
We’re especially interested in workshop ideas that bring something fresh to Reverse Garbage, whether that’s a new technique, medium, material or creative approach. Workshops might use reclaimed materials directly, explore reuse or repurposing, or adapt an existing workshop idea to incorporate materials available through Reverse Garbage.
Each workshop will have capacity for up to 20 participants. There may also be opportunities for selected artists to become recurring workshop facilitators with Reverse Garbage beyond the Artist Takeover program.
