Free Community Drop In Mending and Repair Circle
Join us on the last Monday of every month for our Mending and Repair Circle, hosted by our ‘sustainability champion’ volunteer, Celia. Simply bring along any clothing or fabric item/s you would like to repair, adapt or mend or any sewing project you’re working on, and Celia will guide you on the process.
You can access a sewing machine as well as other tools and materials, such as fabric, thread and needles, for your reuse project. Celia is also able to provide basic sewing tips on hand or machine sewing.
Make new friends in a supportive environment, where together you can enjoy the enduring craft of mending and (re) making. The session is free but a gold coin donation is appreciated. Tea and coffee will be provided.
When: Last Monday of every month, 10am to 12pm
Where: Reverse Garbage Education Hub, 30 Carrington Rd, Marrickville
Cost: Free but gold coin donation appreciated
BYO: Repair or mending project
