Corporate Workshops

Inspire your team to become sustainability and reuse champions!

As a world leader in reuse and sustainability, let Reverse Garbage lead your next team building event or corporate social responsibility program, to empower your staff to live more sustainability through simple reuse practices, in a variety of fun, engaging and interactive sessions.

The workshops have been designed with these key principles in mind for your staff to: LEARN * REUSE * COLLABORATE * MAKE * CREATE,  and ultimately to become sustainability and reuse champions!

The Reverse Garbage corporate team building workshops can be hosted on-site at your organisation or off-site at the Reverse Garbage warehouse in Marrickville. Contact us to learn more about these workshops and to discuss available dates.

Sew-Handy and Repair

Learn Sewing Basics

Has a hem come down, is a missing button stopping you from wearing your favourite shirt? Come along to Reverse Garbage and learn basic sewing stitches that will help you maintain and extend the life of your wardrobe, especially in this throw out era of fast fashion.

We will cover basic stitches that once you have the hang of them you’ll be empowered to stitch and repair, saving clothes, resources and money.

A history of RG and our social, economic and economic impact will also be covered in this fun sewing circle. Don’t be afraid – all levels welcome, up skill and repair for the planet.

No Waste Noel

Bring your team together for a fun, planet-friendly celebration filled with colour, creativity and connection.

No Waste Noel is a festive, hands-on workshop that brings your team together to celebrate the season sustainably. In this 1.5 hour session, participants will create unique holiday cards, wrapping paper, and decorations from rescued and repurposed materials. The results are colourful, one-of-a-kind treasures that become gifts in themselves – personal, thoughtful, and planet-friendly.

Along the way, you’ll learn simple creative techniques while exploring new ways to celebrate without waste. Did you know Australians use more than 150,000 kilometres of wrapping paper each year? No Waste Noel offers a joyful alternative – reducing your impact while making something truly special.

The workshop also includes a short introduction to Reverse Garbage’s 50-year history and the social, environmental, and economic impact of our work. Whether hosted at your workplace or in our Marrickville warehouse, No Waste Noel is the perfect way to wrap up the year with creativity, connection, and sustainability
